I think Dave & Selena proposal story is the most romantic story I witnessed by far. Before I get into all the details about how Dave proposed Selena, I want to mention that I was so honored to capture this special event for this lovely couple.
He had it all planned, prepared and knew exactly how he was going to ask Selena to married him. He wanted every single detail to be perfect from picking and choosing the perfect ring to have a professional photographer to capture his proposal.
Dave took the decision to ask Selena to marry him after dating for three years. Dave started following Selena on Instagram. Shortly after they found out they had lots of friends in common that they didn't know. Selena’s cousins were Dave’s friends.
What a small world! When it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be!!
The first time Selena met Dave, she was very impressed that he was a man that had his feet on the ground. He had been working at his current job for 5 years and Selena noticed that Dave was reliable, responsible, determined and detail oriented.
Dave fell in love with Selena’s beauty and personality. She is the type of person who likes to explore and travel around the world like taking a hike in the wild, willing to try different food, learning from other cultures and meeting new people.
The reason I mention that this is the most romantic proposal is because after so much planning and creativity to bring Selena to the Brooklyn Bridge with a beautiful outfit, makeup, hair and nails done, it rained!!! It was pouring and windy! The umbrella was flying out of our hands and it was very cold. Selena’s hair was getting wet and her outfit was wet. Her makeup was running.
Forget about me! I was soaking wet. Thankfully, my gear was dry.
Dave could not hold his emotions and was eager to ask Selena to marry her. In the middle of the storm, cold and soaking wet both of them, He went down on one knee and popped the big question “Will you marry me?”
On the side note, Selena loves sunflowers
Selena was in disbelieved, but happy and full of emotions. She almost forgot to say “YES”.
Dave’s original plan was to give Selena an engraved lock that read “April 19th “ and “will you marry me? I love you”
These two are made for each other.
Dave and Selena, I can’t wish you nothing but the best on this amazing new journey and I can’t wait to see you again and meet your growing family when the times comes. Congratulations
